Finally, progression out of mitosis and division of the cell into two daughters (cytokinesis) requires the inactivation of Cyclin B - Cdc2 by ubiquitin-dependent proteolysis of Cyclin A and B, which is regulated by a large E3 ubiquitin ligase complex known as the Anaphase Promoting Complex (APC).

The detailed annotation of the M/G1 transition will be completed in a later version of GK.
