TSFM binds TUFM displacing GDP
TSFM (EF-Ts, EF-TsMt) acts as a GTP exchange factor to regenerate TUFM:GTP from TUFM:GDP. In the first step of the reaction TSFM binds TUFM:GDP and displaces GDP, yielding a TSFM:TUFM complex (Cai et al. 2000).
