Arresten, the non-collagenous domain (NC1) of alpha-1(IV) collagen, is a ligand for alpha1beta1 integrin (Colorado PC et al., 2000; Nyberg P et al., 2008). The interaction between arresten and alpha1beta1 integrin is supported by other studies (Aikio M et al., 2012; Zhu L et al., 2022)
