Summation

Cytosolic, non-phosphorylated PGYM dimers (b form) can reversibly bind AMP. This reaction is negatively regulated by ATP and glucose 6-phosphate and is the means by which high levels of these molecules repress PGYM activity (Rath et al. 2000).
