The reversible conversion of GA3P (glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate) to DHAP (dihydroxyacetone phosphate) is catalyzed by cytosolic TPI1 (triose phosphate isomerase) (Watanabe et al. 1996; Lu et al. 1984).
