Beta-TrCP (Btrc) binds phosphorylated Per
By homology with human Beta-TrCP1, mouse Beta-TrCP (Btrc) is an F-box type component of a particular SKP/CUL/F-Box (SCF) E3 ubiquitin ligase. In human cells Beta-TrCP1 interacts specifically with phosphorylated PER proteins and directs their polyubiquitination.
