RanBP2 Sumoylates Top2a with Sumo1
RanBP2 sumoylates topoisomerase Top2a with Sumo1 during interphase and mitosis (Dawlaty et al. 2008). Sumoylated Top2a is observed at centromeres and sumoylation is required for proper segregation of chromosomes (Dawlaty et al. 2008).
