Grin2a gene expression is stimulated by Mecp2
Mouse Mecp2 stimulates transcription of the mouse Grin2a gene, encoding NMDA receptor 2A. Grin2a expression is decreased in Mecp2 knockout mice (Durand et al. 2012).
