Activated Ntrk2 activates PI3K signaling
Mouse Ntrk2 (TrkB), activated by Bdnf or, possibly, by Ntf4 (Nt-4) activates PI3K/Akt signaling, as evidenced by phosphorylated Akt. Activated mouse Ntrk2 was shown to bind Gab1 adapter protein involved in PI3K recruitment (Cao et al. 2013). Mouse PI3K complex was shown to be recruited to activated rat Ntrk2 (Yuen and Mobley 1999).
