G6pc gene expression is stimulated by Foxo6
In mouse liver cells, Foxo6 directly stimulates transcription of the G6pc gene, encoding glucose-6-phosphatase (Kim et al. 2011). G6pc gene transcription is also directly stimulated by the complex of Foxo1 and Pparg1ca (Puigserver et al. 2003).
