Hes1 gene expression is stimulated by Notch3
A recombinant mouse Notch3 intracellular domain (NICD3) positively regulates transcription from the mouse Hes1 gene promoter (Shimizu et al. 2002). Mouse NICD3, in complex with human RPBJ and MAML (MAML1, MAML2 or MAML3) was shown to directly bind to the mouse Hes1 promoter (Lin et al. 2002).
