BAX activation is stimulated by Ntrk3(496-641) and Nelfb
The complex of recombinant mouse Ntrk3 (TrkC) killer fragment (KF) and recombinant mouse Nelfb (Cobra1) stimulates BAX activation in COS-7 cell line, derived from African green monkey kidneys, through an unknown mechanism. This is followed by BAX-dependent cytochrome C release and apoptosome-dependent cell death (Ichim et al. 2013).
