Ppm1f dephosphorylates p-T286-CaMKII-alpha
Recombinant rat Protein phosphatase 1F (Ppm1f, also known as CaM-kinase phosphatase or CaMKPase) dephosphorylates autophosphorylation site, threonine 286 (T286), of recombinant rat CaMKII-alpha (CAMK2A) fragment. Recombinant rat Ppm1f is also active in dephosphorylating autophosphorylated CaMKII isolated from the rat brain (Ishida et al. 1998).
