KEOPS (EKC) complex threonylcarbamoylates adenosine-37 of tRNAs
The highly conserved EKC complex (BUD32:CGI121:KAE1:PCC1) transfers a threonylcarbamoyl group from L-threonylcarbamoyladenylate to adenosine-37 of tRNAs, yielding threonylcarbamoyladenosine-37 (Srinivasan et al. 2011, Perrochia et al. 2013).
