Dishevelled Associated Activator of Morphogenesis (DAAM) is autoinhibited by intramolecular interactions between its GBD and DAD domains. Dishevelled (DSH) binds to the DAD domain of DAAM and disrupts the autoinhibitory interaction, thus activating DAAM.
