Nuclear PTK6 (BRK) phosphorylates the RNA binding protein KHDRSB3 (SLM2) on an unknown tyrosine residue, thus inhibiting its interaction with RNA. KDRSB3 is a SAM68 (KHDRSB1) family member whose function has been poorly studied (Haegebarth et al. 2004).
