JAK3 is phosphorylated downstream of active ALK signaling (Zamo et al, 2002; Amin et al, 2003; Lai et al, 2005; Han et al, 2006a, b) Signaling through JAK3 and STAT3 contributes to cellular survival downstream of ALK signaling (Lai et al, 2005; Shi et al, 2006; reviewed in Palmer et al, 2009).
