After recruitment of the alpha- and beta-DAG1 components and SSPN, the nascent DGC translocates to the plasma membrane where it recruits cytosolic components such as dystrophin, dystrobrevins and syntrophins (Barresi et al, 1997; Hack et al, 2000; Araishi et al, 1999; Chen et al, 2006; Shi et al, 2004; reviewed in Tarakci and Bergman, 2016; Bhat et al, 2018)
