Description
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a mucopolysaccharide composed of repeating N-acetylglucosamine and glucuronic acid subunits. HA(2) is a small (800 Da) fragment of HA cleaved from the larger HA(50) fragment which is necessary for HA turnover in the body.
