Creb3l4 translocates from the cytosol to the nucleus
The cytosolic N-terminal cleavage product of Creb3l4 (Tisp40) trafficks to the nucleus where it activates transcription from promoters that contain the unfolded protein response element (UPRE) (Nagamori et al. 2005).
