Mecp2 binds Notch1 gene promoter
Mouse Mecp2 binds the promoter of the mouse Notch1 gene. Binding of Mecp2 to the Notch1 gene promoter is inhibited by Aurkb-mediated phosphorylation of Mecp2 at serine residue S421 (Li et al. 2014).
