Nbea binds nicd1
Based on experiments conducted in a mouse neuroblastoma cell line Neuro2a (N2a), with the use of recombinant mouse Nbea and Notch1, it was found that the DPBW module of Nbea, which consists of DUF1088, PH-like, and BEACH domains, and WD40 repeats, binds to Notch1 intracellular domain (nicd1). Nbea may negatively regulates transcription of Notch1 target genes, but experimental data is inconclusive (Tuand et al. 2016).
