PGD2/E2/F2a is oxidised to 15k-PGD2/E2/F2a by HPGD
In rabbits, 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (HPGD) oxidises prostaglandins D2 (PGD2), E2 (PGE2), and F2alpha (PGF2a) to 15-keto-prostaglandin D2 (15k-PGD2), E2 (15k-PGE2), and F2alpha (15k-PGF2a) respectively (Bergholte & Okita 1986).
