Notch2 binds Cntn1
Endogenous Notch2 and Cntn1 (F3 i.e. contactin-1) can be co-immunoprecipitated from rat brain lysate. Also, co-culture of rat oligodendrocyte cell line OLN-93 with Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells expressing exogenous mouse Cntn1 results in production of the intracellular domain of Notch2, NICD2, indicating that Cntn1 activates Notch2 (Hu et al. 2003).
