Passive Transport of Anions into Vesicles by Aquaporin-6 (rat)
Rat Aquaporin-6 (AQP6) passively transports anions with the specificity: nitrate > iodide > bromide > chloride > fluoride. AQP6 weakly transports water. AQP6 is gated by low pH.
