NatC acetylates ARL3
The NatC complex acetylates the amino-terminal methionine of ARL3, a ARF-like GTPase with roles in retrograde traffic at the Golgi membrane Acetylation and interaction with the membrane protein Sys1 are needed for the Golgi localization of ARL3 (Behnia et al, 2004; Setty et al, 2004).
